Spy Kids 3-D felt more like a huge gimmick than an actual movie. The special effects look cheap, and some of the video game references go away above the heads of the kids.

This seems mainly to be an excuse to show some admittedly cool 3-D scenes. The series seems to be running out of steam with this installment.

I tried to give this review a negative number, but the system won't allow it. Garbage. Vile. Rotten. I wasted good money to see this in the theater. The movie actually got better when I took my 3d glasses off(thus the 1 and not a 0)! What a waste of great talent (Hayek, Banderas, Montalban). I was such a big fan of Rodriguez, until this movie.
