You've decided to remember Spy Kids 4: All the Time in the World for later. You can see all your remembered films here.
Summary: Former Spy Kids Carmen and Juni Cortez return as teenagers to help 10-year-old twin siblings Rebecca and Cecil Wilson save the world with their stepmother -- a retired secret agent who's been called back into service to stop a conniving smuggler.
It's been a while since the last Spy Kids film, and it wasn't as good as the first two, and no surprise the forth installment wasn't either. It's still highly entertaining but they can only make 'time puns' so many times before they get old. Jessica Alba does a good job, the kids do their best, but at the end of the day it's not going to match the likes of the original. I think fans will still want to see it, and probably appreciate it like I have, but it's time to end the series I think ;)
A trainwreck and a half. The script is one of the worst ever by a noteworthy screenwriter (Robert Rodriguez seems to have wasted no time or effort on it); the nonsensical story is with half-assed dialogue and obnoxious characters. Towards the end, there are a few interesting ideas, but they're ignored in favor of empty flash and dash. Miserable acting, special effects, and direction--and a "Aromavision" scratch-n-sniff card which feels like a tacked-on gimmick, and smells like God-knows-what.
