Exceptionally well-made, and very insightful documentary about one of the best, if not the best, film maker ever.

As far as documentaries of this type go, more entertaining than most. Manages to give a truly in-depth look to Kubrick as both a director and person, with commentary from tons of interesting figures (e.g. Woody Allen, Martin Scorsese, but also Kubrick's family) and lots of interesting footage and photography of Kubrick and his work.

saw this at a moviefestival and the movie was presented by Jan Harlan himself. As a big Kubrick fan, i loved this...

Well done documentary about the man of mystery, the man who never told so much about himself or his films.

A terrific documentary. A lot of interviews and of wide topics were discussed and all the photo's and videos of Kubrick were really awesome.

Really nice little documentary on one of the greatest filmmakers.

Terrifically insightful bio, packed with interviews from the people who knew the man best: his family, his crew, his actors... What really jumped out at me was the way even the people Kubrick had antagonized (actors on set, mostly. Shelley Duvall, for example) spoke glowingly about him. He was a true master, and it seems the people in his life knew they were blessed to go along for the ride. If this biography does nothing else, it will make you want to track down his films you haven't seen.

Decent overview of Kubrick with some interesting stuff fans won't know about but it only made me want to watch his movies instead! I liked when Nicholson said that Kubrick told him you have to shoot the photograph of reality, not reality itself. Brilliant.

It's a great documentary about um, Kubrick. You learn things like you should, as it tackles different aspects of his personality and movies. So what if I teared up a little bit.
