Passable fare, but cheesy nonetheless. My problems with it were mainly storywise, but it didn't inflame me any. Note: I'm not a fan of the Star Trek universe, so I honestly don't really care about the series.

Utterly generic popcorn sci-fi. It would have been fine as a TV two-parter, but it doesn't belong in the theater.

I can't fathom why First Contact gets all this praise and Nemesis gets the opposite - felt like the 'Wrath of Khan' of the new generation.

The Star Trek franchise was dead before this movie, but Nemesis was bad enough that there will never be another ST:TNG movie. There was hope for this franchise after First Contact, which was very good. The actors here are still playing the same charecters they did from a decade ago, with only Brent Spiner's Data showing any growth, and then they kill him off. Go watch Kahn again for a good ST movie.

I would agree that this flick's reception suffered from having an opening weekend which was absorbed into the frenzy of "Two Towers", "Chamber of Secrets", and "Die Another Day". But at the same time, it didn't go quite far enough in saying "Fuck those other flims, come see us". Again, it felt like an elongated episode (yes, would have made a good 2-parter). I really wish that this doesn't become the actual final flight for the TNG crew.

A must see if you're a Star Trek fan. I liked the idea of SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!!!! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!!! cloning Picard, that was smart, considering he foils the enemy at every turn (and also because he is Professor X!). But I hate that they killed Data!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Its so sad to me that the adventures of The Next Generation cast had to end with this abyssmal finale. It's flat and has an unnecessarily tragic ending. Considering this was the final bow for Picard's crew, this film doesn't have any emotional weight.
