An impressive movie in it's own right, this Star Trek classic explores the impediments of prejudice and the struggle of reconciliation with reality.

Not a bad film all in all, and probably would have worked better as the farewell to the original series cast than Generations ended up doing.

This WOULD be Freder's favorite of the TREK movies -- if it didn't go all "Manchurian Candidate" in the final act, and do it in such a low-budget, made-for-TV-movie fashion. Still a fine send-off for the original crew. Would have been even better if Meyer had had his way and Lt. Savvik had turned out to be the saboteur.

While it's not as good as II, IV, or First Contact, VI does hold it's own. It's a good story that stands on it own. It also sets the stage for the "future history" of ST:TNG with camp Kittamer and Worf. Silly at times (Iman) but good battle scenes. A Shakespere quoting Klingon? Sure why not.
