Summary: Everyone deserves a chance to follow their dreams, but some people only get one shot. There frankly aren't as many dance scenes as you would hope for (or even assume there would be) in this kind of movie, and the ones that are there never really reach the level of being especially impressive.

This is a "chick" flick that no chick will see. Better off not watching this flick. A bollywood flick might be a better watch as opposed to this.

The first movie out of the four part movie series. It was weird to see Channing Tatum as a dancer but he was really talented at b-boying. The movie itself is pretty cliche. Tatum gets in trouble at an arts school. He has to do community service. He gets noticed dancing and joins up with the lead girl in her ensemble. Then the usual chick flick things start up. The break up and then make up. So the movie wasn't terrible but it definitely wasn't great. The sequels are better for sure.
