Full of eye-catching dance routines, but as expected the cliched plot, acting and "street" dialogue is ridiculous.

A combination of all the thing I hate the most! A stupid teen movie and 3-D!!! I'm just so tired of 3-D movies, they're not a replacement to a good plot.

Some really good choreographies and that's it. You know the end of the film since the very beginning while every new problem arising seems to be as predictable as its solution. And that means VERY predictable. The acting is really mediocre and the photography and direction are probably more of a show-off than skillful. And, worst of all, a considerable amount of the dramatic and the romantic scenes are heavily ridiculous. HELL!

Drama about a tight-knit group of street dancers in New York City who join a competition against the world's best hip hop dancers. The acting is wooden, the dialogue is bland and the story is ridden with the hoariest of clichés. Does any of that matter? Of course not.

Starts off sayin' it's about all kinds of dance and then proceeds to do only 2 numbers that weren't urban. But all of what they did was excellent or better, except for the finale which was weak up till the final set, which was back up there. The story was one cliche after another--gotta win the prize to pay off the mortgage on the (fill in the blank) or Snidley Whiplash is gonna foreclose. Did have some pretty good 3D fx, not counting all the arms flailing around in the audience.

I can only say watching this was like me taking a splooge to the face. Not that there's anything wrong with that, and I'm sure other people love it, but it's just not my idea of a good time.

Every single element of this that isn't dancing is terrible, which is fine; you'd be foolish to expect more. The inexcusable part is that the choreography itself has vastly deteriorated in the transition to 3D, and now focuses on throwing limbs into the audience rather than featuring stunning movement. Chu continues to shoot in longer takes than anyone, fortunately, and the actual dancers here are skilled, though Stephen Boss is the only one who can push any personality through this crap.

There is literally nothing beyond the dance moves. Its even worse without the 3D, I had the pleasure of seeing the 2D version and the transition isn't pretty. Empty story with paper thin characters. Not sure what else one would expect however. Hopefully this series will cease to exist.

Just as enjoyable as the first two films and visually this one really did look amazing! There are plenty of likeable characters, especially the main four, and its good to see people from both the first and second films back. Storyline wise there probably isn't as much going on compared to the dancing, but there's enough. The dancing is, of course, spectacular, and the final scenes look amazing. Anyone that's a fan of dance will be more than impressed with this film, and I enjoyed watching it :)

The best non-animated 3D film I have seen yet. For a dance film, it's amazing. The dialogue is hilarious, and the dancing is very entertaining. Definitely worth the watch for the laughs.
