90% of this is other people talking about how much Exile on Main Street meant to them, of whom only Scorsese is interesting. The Stones themselves, when they actually get round to them, aren't much better.

I don't know how much of this footage/material is new, but this doc is pretty good even if a little superficial in its coverage. I love Keith Richards' explanation of why he did smack.

You're never going to believe this, but while the Stones were in the South of France recording Exile on Main Street, they took ALOT of drugs. They might've even had sex once or twice. Crazy, right? Well, thankfully we have this documentary to prove it! The Stones have been the subject of so many docs over the years that it's hard to dig up anything interesting about them at all at this point. It successfully killed 80 minutes of a 9-hour plane flight to India, so I'll give it credit for that.
