Summary: Karthiyayini (Sharbani Mukherji), born into an aristocratic Hindu Menon family, gets attracted to Maammootty (Prakash Bare), a Muslim merchant & elopes with him. Although she changes her faith to Islam & her name to Suhara, the discovery of an idol in her house premises rekindles her Hindu roots, & she sets up a temple in her house courtyard.
