Summary: Summer Of The Monkeys (set in the 1800's on the prairies of Canada) follows the story of a young boy, Jay, who dreams of getting enough money to buy his dream horse. One summer Jay finds four chimps on the prairie who have fallen off a circus cart. He later learns that there is a big reward for them. Enough to buy the horse, however, as time goes on he befriends the chimps, and it becomes apparent that Jay can't bear to part with them. (imdb)
