Lots of fun and imaginative visuals make Super Infrman a must-watch for fans of Ultraman and other kaiju-related entertainment.

"No matter how ugly you are, you will always be my daughter" - actual quote. I don't think I have ever had as much fun watching a single film than I did with "Super Inframan". Think "Power Rangers" but more drug-induced, more hilarity and lots more explosions.

As someone really interested in the mass-market movies of Hong Kong's golden age, I can't testify for any high art present here, but I enjoyed this even more than the Wuxia offered from Shaw Bros. Ridiculous vaulting in the air, vivid colors and outrageous sets and costumes. Combined with the insanely overwrought yet charming Shaw Scope compositions, it's a lot of fun.

I don't really get into either monster movies or martial arts these days, and "so bad it's good" doesn't do much for me, so I didn't get a lot out of this. It was silly enough to be mildly entertaining, but the endless kung fu throwdowns at the climax got really boring. I did find it interesting that instead of aliens and mutants, the monsters were all skeletons, witches, demons and devils. Other than that, it was just the occasional ridiculous image that kept me amused... but not amused enough.

Worth the accolades, this is a fun fast paced movie with plenty of 70's monster suits and special effects to go around.

If you like cheesy Asian monster movies, this is pretty great. The makers just pile on insanity as Infra-man kung fu fights a fun bunch of monsters. The most insane thing is that the hero can voluntarily transform into Infra-man and back, and yet there are scenes where he fights monsters IN HUMAN FORM for a while before thinking "Hey, maybe I should transform to my INDESTRUCTIBLE alter ego!" Also, one monster constantly skulks and makes this ridiculous monster chuckle - it never gets old.
