Summary: A circle of close-knit friends' friendship & loyalty is tested by a series of events in their lives - Brahmin girl Veni (Parvathi) falls in love with Tito (Asokan), a Christian, much to the chagrin of Veni's brother Ramaswamy (Jayaram), who dreamt of marrying Veni off into a Brahmin family; Tito's younger sister Fifi (Urvashi) gets pregnant out of wedlock & learns that her boyfriend Saajan (Sreenath) got married elsewhere, & later, Tito himself dies in an accident, leaving everyone broken.
