Poor writing and never decides what it wanted to be. Still a historic event that warranted a film (probably a better one), is watchable but aforementioned issues ruin it for the most part.

Is it a war movie? Is it a romantic movie? Is it a sports movie? Is it a patriotic movie? Felt it tried to do too much, and in the end, failed to make a touching movie. The story of the actual game was on the back burner, while the rest of the film was talking about what was happening to the Hungarians. They should have either made the movie about the polo team, or about the events that occurred, not lump them together.
