Finally! A really good film made in Poland. Although the subject of dysfunctional family and difficulty of life in the province has been already widely exploited, this take is subtle, funny at places, and not-at-all pretentious.

Best Polish movie in last 10 years. If you want to see what Poland looks like, see this one, and then add all the evil people carefully omitted by the director. Sad but optimistic :)
