Summary: The continued adventures of the four adolescent mutated turtles gifted in the art of the ninja, as they attempt to stop a mysterious evil that threatens to end the world.
Entertaining with any interesting fantasy story. Some of the characterization was a little overdone, but the movie was fun overall. The voice acting wasn't the best, but the animation was great. Michelangelo is still awesome.
The characters and dialogue are as deep as you'd expect them to be, the animation is ok (some of the movements looked kinda slow and stiff, but all in all nice to watch), and the story was like... "Hey, we're dealing with other dimensions and immortality and mutated turtles here - no need to make any sense!" Still, if you manage to shut up the critic inside you for a bit, there sure is some fun to be had.
I was so hopeful that this movie would be good, especially since they brought back the original people to voice the characters for the most part. However, there story sucked and it was not at all what I had hoped to see.
I saw this movie, had no idea what was going on or in what chronology the film took place in, but still liked it enough. Pretty sweet new look for the Turtles. Now they need to let them finally rest in peace.
The revival of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in an age when they were best remembered as corny cartoon characters looks like a grave error both in regard to and regardless of other animated delights of 2007. To those who continue to give themselves over to its dopey adaptation of the sorta-popular series, I ask: why bother? You could just see The Simpsons Movie instead.
Fun, with great animation, but not exactly good either. Raphael is exceptionally irritating and the movie is too short to really develop in any way, but it does have some nicely animated action scenes.
