As with other "B" Kneitel cartoons, the subtext is far more interesting than the plot or jokes. I vaguely remember, from early childhood, seeing some other cartoons like this, and it seems that Kneitel and his crew were trying to warn all us kids about the future... to tell us to enjoy childhood while it lasts, because adulthood is absurd and terrifying. He was right, too
