Almost all of those points are for "...And All Through The House", which is one of the best horror anthology stories I've ever seen. The movie got off to a great start with that one, and then it spent the rest of the runtime losing all of the goodwill it had initially built up. None of the other stories worked and the finale- "Blind Alleys"- was particularly poor. Excepting "...And All Through the House", the presence of Peter Cushing was the only thing that this flick had going for it.

Five horror tales, attractively mounted and effectively executed.

One of the better anthology horror films to come along. All of the segments are intriguing and creepy. It's especially interesting to see the original version of the "And All Through the House" segment that would be remade for the HBO series and become one of its most famous episodes. And Peter Cushing is great as a vengeful zombie. A very fun movie.

I'd like this to be higher. I really would.

It's rubbish in a way, but also just hilarious. It made me laugh, both on purpose and without. Some stories were actually well elaborated, some hard to get through. Not really spooky, but a couple of good surprises; then of course the hand through the mould, the blooddripping text... it all adds op, don't it?

So much fun!

A very good anthology horror film. Not deep or particularly scary, but has the spirit of the original comics. Fun campy stories with twists that probably make M. Night Shyamalan cream his pants.
