they say this one is the best tarzan movie with weissmuller and they're right, there are many factors involved: less stock footage, more action, better writing, and the persistent hope that maureen o'sullivan's loincloth will be blown with the perfect amount of wind at just the right angle.

Brutally wild and raw! It's amazing how much action one can put into one movie. Danger ahead at every turn. Welcome to the jungle! It's surprisingly violent being released just a couple of months before the strict production codes was put in effect which would limit the sexuality and brutality that this movie features. A wonderful adventure film with a high body-count, nice special effects, lovable animal shots, steaming sexuality along with cute love moments between Tarzan & Jane.
