as my first weissmuller tarzan movie, i really got everything i expected and perhaps a bit more. the production values aren't too bad, it's got some good sets, and a fairly decent plot. i wasn't particularly impressed with weissmuller, he doesn't really seem like an ape man, just a man who wears a loin cloth and speaks broken english, i guess if that's an ape man it's news to me.
