As with millions of other kids worldwide, these Popeye cartoons were the reason I never minded eating my spinach when I was a boy. Now that I'm a grownup, and can go to the bathroom by myself and everything, I can see how witless they are. At least the Fleischer ones have cooler animation

Meh.

The later Popeye cartoons are all watchable, but have none of the charm of the Fleischer cartoons.
