Great cast leaded by an awesome Claire Danes

I really wish they'd made this a mini-series or something, I was left wanting more.

Not too sure about the acting, at times it seems to be overacted. The story is very inspiring and fascinating though

Superb performance, interesting theme.

Inspiring, powerful, emotional drama based on the real life of a Temple Grandin, whose mother courageously refused to accept what the medical establishment told her and in so doing helped her daughter to find a life of her own. Winner of 7 Emmys, including Clair Danes for outstanding lead actress and Julia Ormond and David Straithairn for supporting actress and actor. "Temple Grandin" is exceptional among movies made for television (an HBO production).

Wonderful story, deeply touching and inspiring. Claire Danes and Julia Ormond are just brilliant as caring mother and autistic daughter...A must see...

Claire Danes blew me away with her performance (to great surprise). Extremely moving look on autism and how it affects both the people who are autistic and the people around them. Only great fault is that it suffers from the biopic "formula", so you have to be able to look besides that.

i had read about this very interesting woman years ago and was excited to hear that a film based on her life had been made. danes performance is amazing and the supporting cast is marvelous as well. well worth taking the time to see, highly recommended.
