To say that this film left a bit of an impact on me would be an understatement. I enjoyed this so much and it's such a beautifully done adaptation that I'm hesitant to watch other versions of the story. The cast is terrific and Justine Waddell is absolutely perfect. To this day, I can't see Jason Flemyng without cursing him under my breath for what his character did to Tess. An absolute must watch for Thomas Hardy fans, though I'd recommend this to anyone who is intrigued by the film's premise.
