I think it is safe to say that this is the worst western I've ever seen. Actually, calling it a western, is an insult to the genre.

Lets try to do a new take on Young Guns... Epic fail. The dude from the 70's and Dawson as wild west guys!!! I hope somebody lost their job in the aftermath...

Such a sub-par western although it was very reminiscent of Young Guns. Still, James Van Der Beek has a huge head.

A reasonably well produced, but surprisingly low rent western. With the obnoxious Van Der Beek taking the main role and the general lack of any standing talent from the cast, it has the feel of a straight to video production. There's a couple of decent moments, but it generally degenerates into a simnple minded blaster intersperced with some unconvincing scenes aimed at character development. Texas Rangers can be pretty much summarised as an inept adaptation of the typical 50's western.
