Summary: In a slum in Cochin, Chakrapani (Sreenivasan), a disabled beggar who is also a small-time moneylender, has an eye on Latha (Geethu Mohandas), who lives nearby with her two children, though she detests him. She works as a maid & dreams of a better future for her children. The slum dwellers are forced to evict their colony as part of beautifying the city & their pleas for help are ignored.
