In the first 15 minutes of the film the only thing that had happened is a couple people arrived at a Disco. No interesting Dialog. Nothing. That's not a good enough film for me to watch 16 minutes. Honestly, I feel badly for wasting 5 on it.

Lazy and forgettable rather than obnoxious or offensive, the most painful aspect (aside from a few truly grating performances) is that it sees disco as nothing more than a mindlessly exploitable commodity. Gays are reduced to fleeting LOL! moments and African Americans are all on the sidelines as DJs and performers. Notable only for Donna Summer's only film appearance, likely done under duress as her label head Neil Bogart produced the film and loads it with product placements for his brand.

"There is a transvestite who takes about eight hours in the men's bathroom to electric shave his bust, making him the only gay in this disco (aside from Debra Winger's AC/DC dance partner)." - Eric Henderson

Just when you think the most annoying character has been introduced, another one comes out of nowhere and steals the title. The line "Dancing. Everything else is bullshit!" simply is not true.
