Summary: Cathy Timberlake is an old fashioned country girl who meets the man of her dreams, Philip Shayne, after his Rolls Royce splashes her with mud on her way to a job interview. Understated and under-rated. Whitty charming and intelligently crafted script make this a classy romantic comedy. Grant is so dry he's positively arid with some great physical comedy whic is still underplayed (Jim Carey note) - Doris Day just makes you smile throughout. Funny and detailed sub-plots and great detail make this a snapshot of the sixties.. Catch it if you can.
