Some good...most bad. The animation is of a decent quality, but like most anime, the writing is crap, and the focus tends to revolve around the unrealistic...which really doesn't work here because the whole thing that made the Matrix universe awesome was how it tied into the 'real world.' Well, except when they focus on athletic young filles prancing sprightly about in their smallclothes--because nothing can be more real that that.

Aside from the insipid opening 3D animated short (which nutshells all the problems with the Matrix series) there are some outstanding animated moments. Too bad they're too few.

Some of the intepretations of the Matrix universe are better than the others, but overall, this collection of canon fanfics make for an interesting looksee for the matrix fan.

Some of the animation is really good. Some is really bad. Some of the stories are really good. Some is really bad. It's a mixed crop of good and bad. I guess worth it if you're a hardcore Matrix fan, but if not, then don't bother.
