Summary: Wealthy advertising executive Eddie Anderson (Kirk Douglas) is trapped in an unhappy marriage and a mind-numbing career and slipping deeper and deeper into a midlife crisis. Trying to find new meaning, he takes up with a free spirit (Faye Dunaway) who helps him realize how much he's given up to achieve success.
