Gareth Lewis's debut feature film is a very pleasant, stylish and feel-good picture. The music is excellent, the cast is terrific (Lewis, Ashfield, Dwyfor, O'Donnell, Speirs, Coster-Waldau, Gambon and Cowen) and the atmosphere really memorable. I watched it twice and the second time I liked it even more than the first time - plus, there were still things left to discover.

It's an OK movie but none of it is particularily hilarious. Damian Lewis is almost enjoyable to see but the movie itself just feels generic and relatively safe, considering it's subject matter. I think the concept would work better as a short or comedy sketch but as it stands the movie feels a bit drawn out.

First movie I've seen that wasn't on Criticker, which I find surprising as it was apparently well regarded enough to be shown on Northwest Airline flights.
