An ambitious concept lacking in execution. With a bigger budget and a better script this could've really been something. Even so, Vincent Price gives an excellent performance as the swindler, and it seems Fuller did the best he could. Worth at least one watch, but I don't see myself returning to it.

Not completely successful, but an unusual Western with a fascinating story line. Vincent Price is very good and Fuller's writing and direction is more restrained than usual.

Only Vincent Price & the low-key photography [Wong Howe - I love you] make this anything worth watching.

This movie has an outrageous story based on a tall tale, and it's very funny at times. Price is terrific in this movie, I really enjoyed it.
