The second cartoon that Tex Avery directed for WB. This is also the first alternate model of Porky Pig after his debut the previous year. This model would be refined over the next few years, leading to the final version which Friz Freleng and Robert Clampett would use in their successful Porky shorts. The story in this short is definitely not in the wacky vein that future Avery cartoons would be in just the next few years. But it's interesting to see the beginnings of Porky Pig.
