A copycat murder brings vigilante killers The Saints out of retirement to clean up Boston's streets again. This is a buddy comedy with tons of cheesy one liners and gun porn. All the religion and mafia bollocks surrounding it is just window dressing for the jokes and ludicrous slow motion gunplay. Not terrible, and Julie Benz looks way better in a skirt than Willem Dafoe.

Not good, but not nearly as bad as you've heard. Actually, I'd put both BS films (ha!) at the same quality level. The most major difference is this one seemed to feel like, at any moment, it might fall drunkenly into self-parody. Between the constant anal-rape, Godfather 2 and Three Stooges references, I was anticipating a Mel Brooks song-and-dance somewhere - and would have appreciated it.

This was almost one of the worst sequels of unoriginality of all time. They practically copied the first movie verbatim but made it cheesier and shittier. And what the fuck was up with that Tapout douche-bag soundtrack. Fuck you Troy Duffy.

Man, this could have been a fun, good movie, but it missed the mark on several occasions......the one thins that just effed up this movie for me beyond all other issues, however, was Julie Benz's terrible, and I mean downright atrocious, Southern accent. If they make a 3, it better be awesome.

Better than the original. Still very bad, and not worth seeing. The cinematography is decent, and that's pretty much it. The characters, plot, writing, and action are pretty much just as bad as in the first film. Zero likable characters.

The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day is, more so than anything else, a cash-in film. The first Boondock Saints made a lot of money with home media, and therefore, we got a second one. It feels rushed, going against everything that the first film stood for, while also going to prove that the first film's problems came from its writer and director, not from anywhere else. This is another poor action film, only this time, there is less action, making it even worse than the original.

The first movie in the series is definitely better but this one still has some charm. There are still plenty of funny moments and some nice surprises. The character that Julie Benz plays is not as good as Willem Dafoe's character in the first one. Check this one out if you like the first one

a "quick" cash-in and nothing like the prequel. julie benz' attempt to "be what dafoe was" is so incredibly lame and awkwardly acted, it made me feel embarrassed for her through the entire movie. the "story" is one incoherent motherfucker and full of "WTF?"-moments, everything about this feels shallow and blown out of proportion. they even paid dafoe to have a guest appereance, so that anyone could at least get a feeling that it's related to Boondock Saints. loads of bullcrapé, pardon my french.

After I watched the first one I really thought it was going to be a stand alone epic movie. Then they announced a sequel which I thought twice about I will admit that. Now having seen both films in comparison this can and will stand as a good two part series. Connor, Murphy and their father return for another round against crine, and although it may be lacking the originality factor of the first one, true fans can embrace another go around with these characters and appreciate this film.

Awful new characters, less than stellar performances by the returning cast and a lack of screen time for the MacManus brothers. The rawness of the original has been retread into the ground and replaced with a bogglingly high amount of hate speech, lame action and a ridiculous plot. It had a nice ending... I guess.

Just a lot of slow motion over some rock songs for me. I don't think this is exiting in any way. It's just makes a very very unnecessarily long movie. I think runtime was actually 80 minutes or so, with the slow motions, it has gone up to nearly 120. Don't like these kind of action movies. Never will. Oh, and Christianity bullshit does not justifies main characters' actions. Even though there's some other opinions about the matter on news and stuff. The movie presents their actions as "holy".

There's a slow mo scene in the first 10 minutes with the McManus brothers showering naked with their back tattoos glistening under water. There's also "genius" lines such as "You've got a nice ass for a fat man" and other bits of that caliber. There's also flashbacks and dream sequences set to hard rock which don't add to the story... and a mumbling incoherent Peter Fonda. This is the derivative shit you'd expect from a hack like Duffy. The final 10 minutes was decent but garbage overall.

Total shit storm that I expected but hoped it wouldn't be, after having seen Overnight I kinda knew Troy would fuck up and he did so beautifully. Saints II is pretty much a cheese-fest harping on old gimmicks that made Saints 1 so great and coating all that with loose ends and a poor script. Luckily the Saints boys can act the shit outta anything. But goddamn all these incessant sequels, prequels, and remakes. Almost makes me not want to revisit Saints 1.. almost

I expected a lot from Troy Duffy, especially after the first part. I was expecting to be disappointed at the same time. This movie was very disappointing at the end. The movie was just created for the fan base, but disappointing the fans at the same time. This movie attempts to be funny but it fails at that too. Overall many of the fans of the first Boondock Saints will be disappointed.
