If you love all things Irish, this is like an injection of Ireland right into your arm. You will get your fix of traditional Irish music, accents, green scenery, the works! I loved it.

If I was solely judging this on the lush Irish scenery and the music, it'd get at least a B, as I'm a sucker for both. But we're talking about a movie here, and as a movie, I found the majority of the story to be very formulaic, with cliches coming out the wazoo. There were some serious groan-worthy moments (sample dialogue: "This is my life, mom! MY LIFE!"--holy cow, really?! In 2005?!). There was also a scene where a girl threw up on her date right before the "big kiss". Bleeeeech, indeed.
