Mission: Impossible
"Tom Cruise's journey into espionage territory borrows heavily from the book of spy cliches, the concept is reasonable but the film is too inconsistent in tone to really pull it off, failing to decide if it wants to be a PG action adventure flick or a 15 rated thriller. Many of the major plot points feel stupid and characters hollow. When we get down to the actual 'mission impossible' business things pick up considerable, the sequence in Langley is great and the theme song is quite awesome. " - 40
