I liked it when I saw it, but it's easy to forget. I can see why someone would LOVE it, though--it has an audience, and I can respect it for that.

drastic and radical, either you hate it or you love it, you get it completely or it flies over your head. I personally love it, I can relate to the characters in the story, it does a very well job at unmasking the disguise of suburban life

Soulless and vapid.

It is hard to tell who is more messed up in this movie the parents or the kids. All of the characters are screwed up in one way or another in this film. There are a lot of good scenes and some interesting characters in this film but the ending is unsatisfactory. I can not quite recommend this one.

Flawed, but interesting nonetheless

Another one of these "tabus in sub-urbia" (none of them match to American Beauty). Some of the characters were verry clishé, but the movie was entertaining and messed up a bit in a Donnie Darko kind of way. Kids and drugs, always interresting.

An interesting concept with some really great moments, but the story is a little too silly at times and you get the feeling the movie is repeating itself.

This film has an excellent cast who play their parts with precision. Unfortunately its not much of a story and is quite boring.

I think, that had I not once lived in the sort of community portrayed, where parents are so lost in their own worlds that children fall by the wayside to be left to their own devices, and denial runs rampant, that i would not have enjoyed this movie as much as I did. But the fact that I've seen people self destruct into the characters in this gave it a certain poignancy that made it that much better.
