Insulting to the original on every level, "City of Angels" has a few decent moments but the acting is awful and the cinematography is probably the worst I've ever seen and renders the entire thing unwatchable.

The only reason anyone should watch this is if they'd like to see some guest appearance by Iggy Pop and the Deftones. Otherwise this movie is absolute shit. Vincent Perez is awful as the Crow.

Another poor attempt to capitalize on the cult success of the original film. When I first saw the original, I would have never though that there would be 3 sequels. The story didn't seem to be built for it in the first place.

The first movie is a masterpiece, this isn't even an apprentice piece. Half assed all the way, looks cheap and the lead character has a heavy accent making him hard to understand at times. "In ancient greece they used to put corns in the deads mouth." "corns?! OH COINS!" They even took what could have been a cool ending and botched that. It has moments, but not enough to sit through the drivel

If anything this is even more downbeat and melancholy than the first film, but it's haunted by a sense of deja-vu that keeps it from being as fresh and interesting as its predecessor.
