Very interestingly organized. They didn't go for straight chronology, but mixed it up a bit (and made it all the more entertaining thereby). The only thing I didn't really like was the opening sequence (a bit hokey). The final shot/cut was quite amusing.

The documentary shows the significance of editing. The examples and the commentary (from editors and directors) on them are excellent and entertaining. Recommended. See also *Visions of Light*, which explores the importance of cinematography.

Very informative documentary about the cutting process and the power that editors have. It raises the question if actors are really that well or if editors "make them well" because of their editing skills. I really didn't know about such a great influence they obviously have. Highly recommendable!

Very insightful look into the importance of movie editors. I consider myself well versed in film production but even I had underestimated the sheer amount of skill and time movie editors require to create the feeling in movies we know and love. It has a wide selection of interviews from a variety of directors, actors and editors giving you a great range of opinions of what makes a great editor and movie edit. Essential viewing for movie fans.
