Summary: With a pocketful of drugs, Nick West takes out his girlfriend Sammy, for a shag and a good time. When they explore an abandoned asylum, the discovery of a bizarre device - a cross between an electric chair and sadistic fetish machine - transforms drugged-out bliss into agony and despair. Gave up after 20 minutes, just godawful. I will give it that I might have somewhat enjoyed it for its comedic value on a different day, and it doesn't seem to take itself very seriously, but neither should it so that doesn't really help. Just seemed like a waste of time.

It's funny more than it's scarry or creepy or anythin else. Still it has a fine thrilling twist and the worst psychologists i've seen in my life.

"The medium-level gore feels more graphic than it is thanks to the demented lead performance. There is an annoying self-aware narration that talks down to the audience and thinks its being clever by remarking about the horror cliches, and there are a few surreal twists that insult the audience by being completely nonsensical and manipulative. It doesn't take brains to lie to the audience and then change everything."

From the guy who gave us Broken. This is a hard movie for me. It reminded me in parts of the original Hellraiser. And the acting was decent..I had my hopes high for this and it was ok..but I was expecting alot more
