Summary: Jerry and Ted are young, in love, and part of the New York 'in-crowd'. Jerry's decision to marry Ted crushes a yearning Paul. Distraught Paul gets drunk and wrecks his car, disfiguring young Dorothy's face in the process. Out of pity, Paul marries Dorothy... (imdb)

Kind of tough to rate. The direction is uncredited, and the film seems to suffer from a lack of point-of-view, but part of me thinks that neutrality makes it a little more challenging. Norma Shearer won an Oscar for the part, and if it were a silent film I'd agree.
