Surprisingly cute.

Nice idea, but very old style.

Delightful. A charming, funny and beautifully animated short film full of maths puns and a lovely, simple little romance. Possibly my favourite Chuck Jones film.

It's quite incredible how much Jones can do with so little, and Morley's voice is perfectly suited. While the script could use some work and the story takes a while to get going, it's all made worthwhile by the wonderful pun that finishes the whole thing off.

Nice and interesting experiment, although Jones did better stuff.

I loathe math, and yet I love this cartoon because it is math. Cute story, and has some very interesting abstract animation from Chuck Jones.

There are far too many ways to evaluate this: As humor, as math education (we were shown it in grade school), as a reflection on 60's culture, as a parable, etc. But however you look at it, it works.

Jone's best post-golden-age film.

Needed more math puns.

The story of a line trying to find himself so he can impress a dot who is so fixated on a grungy scribble and its far more interesting than the average romance flick to come out in the past 10 years.
