It was uninteresting and boring. Both the plot and the characters were very bare, so it was impossible to care about what was happening. Also, the big twist at the end seemed so random that it actually made me laugh.

Not terrible but not that good either. The story didn't fit but Gere was pretty good.

A rather fun idea for a plot is not played out in any way that is remotely interesting or suspenseful. Really, the only suspense is provided by the not-particularly-inspired score.

For a low budget thriller with a plot that is about 25 years out of date, this film is actually not that bad. It's not particularly good, either, mind you, but the plot is very well paced and Richard Gere turns in a solid performance.
