Seth MacFarlane strikes back. Kinda.

Drawn Together's provocations only occasionally escape the self-imposed limitations of wilfully incendiary subversiveness, wrought as the film is by the creative team's largely limp attempts at inspiring shock and awe. When it so explicitly wants to be something distinct from the bulk of films derived from popular television series, it squanders whatever chance it might have had at being something more hilariously engaging by being so destructively blunt. Stick with the South Park movie, folks.

There's a few funny parts but in the end this movie just leaves you glad the series ended. Also... borderline cartoon porn.

I was delighted with the first few well-placed and oh so richly deserved digs at South Park, but propping up the entire movie with it was a terrible decision. You know the real reason why Drawn Together got canceled? Because South Park, as self-righteous as it's become, is funny more than once every three episodes and when it coasts on potty humor it's not as a cry for attention. Fuck, I'm GLAD Drawn Together is gone. Why in the hell did I watch this anyway?
