That's not how electricity works, but who cares. A ton of gags that work really well and a few punches are pulled which actually makes the ones that hit that much funnier.

this one is a solid one that really shows off the ingenuity and imagination that keaton had. i really liked the ideas, but there could have been a little more of a push to get out the great laughs.

The first half was ok

"The Electric House" is one of the most inventive Buster Keaton shorts where he creates a load of peculiar mechanisms in his client's house. Susprisingly, everything works perfectly, until the original electrical engineer decides to avenge him by sabotaging the whole system... Wait I minute! I made a terrible mistake! This isn't just one of the most inventive Keaton films. It is one of his most outrageous (or even unbeliavable at points) experiments! A must-see for Keaton fans (and not only).

One of Buster's amazing houses. I wouldn't mind having some of this gagetry myself. I could do without the stairs tossing me through the upstairs window and into the pool, though.

Wow, that's an impressive set.

Regular Buster's two-reeler. Lots of fun gadgets, but very simple story. The gags aren't good enough to keep the movie above the water.

Unusually tame and unfunny. A real snoozer, this Keaton short had me fighting off sleep.
