You've decided to remember The Emperor's New Groove 2: Kronk's New Groove for later. You can see all your remembered films here.
Summary: Kronk (Patrick Warburton), now chef and Head Delivery Boy of Mudka's Meat Hut, is fretting over the upcoming visit of his father. Kronk's father always disapproved of young Kronk's culinary interests and wished that Kronk instead would settle down with a wife and a large house on a hill. (wikipedia)
"Your eggs, my raisins." "We can bake beautiful bread together." The sequel to a really cool Disney flick, complete with adult humour! I love it when they do that.
A fun sequel to the original 'Groove' film, and while its nowhere near as good it still has enough there to keep fans of the first happy, plus its sure to please the little ones along the way. Kronks the new leading man, obviously because he was a fan-favourite from the first, and he delivers here of course. All the other originals make apperances along the way also. Storyline is a little corny, and aimed much more at a younger audience than the first, but overall it was enjoyable enough :)
There have been very, very, very few decent sequals to animated films, mostly because they're all cheap efforts made for a cash-in, this movie definately continues with that pattern but actually a bit more tolerable then it's brethren.
Well-animated, beautifully designed, but just another in the string of cookie-cutter releases that have brought Disney to its creative knees in recent years. Same old, same old. . . will someone at Disney PLEASE allow CREATIVE people to make a movie?
