Summary: Pregnant Joey (Shu Qi) teeters on the brink of madness after several fruitless suicide attempts. She's the unwilling recipient of an influx of shadowy images that haunt her pervasively. In an attempt to quell this disturbing phenomenon, she looks up with her secretive ex-lover Sam (Tik Jesadaporn Pholdee), who may be able to shed some light upon the mysterious twilight world descending upon Joey. The Eye 2 is basically 95 minutes of Shu Qi going batshit crazy in the face of the Pang brothers' freaky-deaky indulgences and half-formed horror concepts. If the film is more memorable (though certainly not better) than its predecessor, it is still just another brainless Asian ghost movie in a sea of thousands.

Haven't seen the original version, but this story is interensting. Unfortunately directors spoil all possibilities to reach anything good with it; twins just have no skills (or they're too young with media). Some good effects.

Wasn't a fan of the first on, actually not much of a fan of Japanese horror at all, but I really did like this. The acting was pretty good and I really like how reincarnation was used to help develop the story involved. A couple of jumps, but it was more mood than horror. Worth giving a chance too, I almost didn't because I didn't care for the first one.
