Here's the thing about doing a doc on the Pistols. #1, if you're remotely interested in the band, this stuff is legend by now...canon. Either you know it or you don't. No. 2: their musical output was comically minimal, There's only so many times you can hear "Anarchy" in 100 minutes. Contrast that with Temple's Strummer doc, where he had DOZENS of songs to play with. Anyway, that aside, a very competent piece of work with a surprisingly candid and remorseful Lydon as its breakout star and soul.

A look at one of my fave bands of all time. At times funny but ultimately sad and destructive look at the 70's, rock and/or roll and of course heroin and band egos. A great companion piece to John Lydon's autobiography "rotten"
