Summary: This short is a discussion of the absence of the "flying car" and the hypothetical question posed asking "what would you do to get a flying car?" Funny dialogue between characters leads up to a hilarious punch-line which ties it all together in a Kevin Smith trademark style. (youtube)
It's a nice concept, but the script feels forced and it's as though O'Halloran and Anderson magically forgot how to act. Definitely a bit of a miss as far as Smith's usually impressive comedic stylings go.
Pretty entertaining. A nice showcase for Randal's character and how much he overthinks the societal implications of really dumb hypothetical scenarios.
The first 4 minutes are decent, featuring an interesting hypothetical and decent banter between two friends. However, the last two minutes, with Randal's tortuously long, overdone soliloquy, and then, the eye-rolling predictable punchline take things down a few notches. (Yep, it's just a gay joke at the end) It's watchable, and I was entertained during a few moments, but I didn't laugh, either.
Incredibly bad. Smith actually puts in a laugh track. Did I just watch a sitcom or something? It also has those 2 unfunny guys in all his movies talking about yep, more unfunny stuff. Good job Kevin Smith, keep being below average!
