Well just don't compare it with green street hooligans. Otherwise you will think this was some amateurish school project made by some youngster who like violence, beer and football.

Probably very realistic, which is fucking worrying, but not _really_ that interesting unless you're a degenerate. Didn't have a single football scene in it, which was probably deliberate to show how little these cunts have to do with football, but, again, not very fucking interesting.

Just plain fun. Good times. A couple of hilarious characters and a pretty good soundtrack to boot.

I like it, it's just not all that good as a film, even though it has its moments. Tommy's hallucinations try to be something profound and surreal, but it really just comes across as juvenile and pretentious... I still like it though.

The beautiful game seems to elude film-makers, who have never succesfully transformed it's essence into a good film. Strangely enough, the same is true of the violence surrounding it. 'The Football Factory' is more of a slap on the cheek than a kick in the nuts, opting for 'Snatch' cool, rather than 'Nil by Mouth' explicitness. On the other hand it's a refreshingly non-judgmental look at hooligans, and the way Chelsea is currently playing, who can blame those guys? AMIRITE?! HAAH!?? Okay then...

Shitty fucking film. The book it's based on is a mildly entertaining fare, that has a good go at explaining some of the reasons behind hooliganism. This film however is a mess, littered with bad performances, clumsy direction and none of the books depth. Danny Dyer, aside from being a useless waste of human flesh, is just a terrible, terrible actor.

Down the same sort of avenue as I.D, Another fine blend of violence, British acting, humour and more violence!

The Football Factory accurately portrays the common behaviour and lifestyle of your everyday meat-headed Englishman. If you like to watch grown men drinking, swearing, taking drugs and beating the life out of each other then this film is for you.

Good movie bout hulligans in England. You can smell the dirt from it. Unfamous actors which is great. It is imagenary story but similiar things happen all the time all across England and Italy. Not interesting to Americans, which reminds me: it is FOOTBALL not soccer.

It's fair say say that the Love/Dyer director/actor combination won't be joining the likes of Scorcese/DeNiro. Interesting that the idea of redemption and learning as a theme is toyed with then completely dropped despite everything. Imagine Quadrophenia done by far less talented/drunk/brain damaged people with less plot and clue and you still aren't close
