Mickey Mouse's fairly memorable second appearance, between Plane Crazy and Steamboat Willie. If you think there's generally too little drinking, smoking, animal abuse and stabbing in Disney cartoons, give this one a go.

Interesting animation and an even more interesting character concept for Mickey. One can clearly see that Mickey wasn't supposed to be a role model at first. Far more interesting to look at than later shorts IMO.

A somewhat entertaining short. Mickey once again takes part in some animal mistreatment just for the fun of it. Even in this short, where Mickey is clearly the good guy, his actions really make me wonder who decided to make Mickey such a pretentious asshole in the first Mickey shorts.. Oh well. It's not that great, anyway.
