A horrifically boring atrocity that made very little sense. Honestly, it really made very little sense to me, I was close to turning it off about 3/4 through because it was just so confusing and dull. I mean, the story itself isn't that hard to understand once you get to the end and you can discuss it with others who watched it and try to piece it together, but the way it's presented to us in by the scripting, editing and acting makes it very difficult as it's actually on.
Typical of low budget straight to dvd sci-fi, there's a little not-so well choreographed action performed by a skimpily dressed female on Bladerunner's old sets. There's not so much a script as much as a general guide to what's going on w/ major details left out: most noticeably how exactly does the film's McGuffin (a dna hacking glove) work& y is every wearer ok w/ its unpredictable results? If however, ur a fan of ladies in shiny outfits, u'll have Bai-ling showcasing about half a dozen of 'em
A scrap-paper collage of half a dozen sci-fi tropes stuck together with Ling Bai. Gets a few points for an entertaining soundtrack and what could have been an interesting atmosphere, but that's about it.
